I've been coming to Unwind now for several years and I can honestly say they're the best place to get a massage in the DMV. The staff is so friendly and the decor is beautiful, but what really stands out above all else is the quality of the massages I've gotten here. I have three pinched nerves in my neck and every time I come the therapists are so incredibly knowledgable and talented. The massages I get here really help me manage my pain better than anything else I've tried. I'd recommend this place to ANYONE with back pain, or if you just want to treat yourself. Bottom line, it's a beautiful, relaxing, worthwhile experience!

I received a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Max and it was exactly what I wanted. I carry a lot of tension in my shoulders and my neck so I asked Max to focus on these areas and he did a great job. I usually have to ask the masseuse to apply more pressure, but Max has very strong hands and was able to provide the "hurts so good" feeling I prefer in my massages.

I don't care for lower body massages and I let Max know. He did do some lower body massages, which I think was appropriate to make the massage a total body experience. But he did as I asked and really focused on my shoulders and my neck.

I felt comfortable and Max was very respectful of my privacy- moving and rearranging the sheet to make sure I was never exposed. I'd definitely come back and recommend Max to anyone who's looking for a strong masseuse who can really loosen up tight muscles and knots.

This was my first time getting a couple's massage.  The experience was fantastic.  The masseuse was very slow and deliberate.  The customer service was great.  We had a great time.  I would definitely recommend.

I booked a relaxing birthday party with a few friends at Unwind. The whole experience was amazing. The booking was very straightforward and streamlined. Once we arrived, the salon was beautiful and perfectly located in Georgetown next to Baked & Wired. They staff was very nice and the therapist were amazing.  Five women came in for massages and all five left very satisfied and happy to return. The owner is so sweet and provides amazing customer service as well. I completely recommend Unwind for everyone.

My friend and I went to Unwind Wellness Center in Georgetown for a "couple massage" as we were jointly spoiling ourselves for our birthdays. I found the center through Yelp so did not know 100% what to expect but was very pleasantly surprised. The interior is beautiful and feels like a luxury spa, but at reasonable prices. The staff were warm and welcoming and the rooms and facilities were amazing. Marco and Tanyaluk were fantastic, they are excellent at their trade, very attentive and really welcoming. Thank you again for this birthday treat. We will be back!

I have been going to Yelena for deep tissue massages for a few months now, and I can't recommend her enough! I have chronic lower back pain and carry a lot of tension in my back, so I was in pretty bad shape when I first started. Yelena is very knowledgeable about muscles and nerves, tailors each massage to my specific needs, and genuinely cares about my wellbeing. She is professional but also provides personal touches - I tried hot stones once and loved them, so now she keeps them on hand for every massage! I leave every massage relaxed and rejuvenated, and I look forward to seeing Yelena every time. If you need deep tissue work or facials, she is definitely the person to go to - and ask about the neuromuscular massage that she is now offering!

The spa itself is a great experience. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming, there is a wide selection of teas to enjoy before or after your treatment, and they always provide water and chocolates on the way out. I love the music, which is soothing but not distracting, and the entire space is clean, warm, and very inviting. The prices are reasonable for Georgetown, and they offer packages for a number of treatments. I highly recommend Unwind, and especially Yelena!
