It was such a pleasant experience at unwind. I had a terrible backache during my trip to DC and had to find someone to get a massage. Found this place and called, the person who answered the phone was so helpful, she told me about the street address which had a different entrance address to save me a lot of agony to try to find the place as an out of town visitor, and when I arrived, She was so welcoming and I was unwinding already!

The massage therapist Paulo's technique and calming demeanor relaxed me and I was able to walk out comfortably after one hour. My back pain was relieved by 90%!

Delightful experience at unwind wellness center. Full hour of massage with great staff members. I had no problem or difficulty setting up my appointment to the time window of my preference - busy life, less time to care for myself, so it was important that they understood my time needs, and they did. It is also, above it all, very convenient to be able to tip on my card, instead of having to carry cash.

Me and my girlfriend are visiting from the UK and booked a couples massage here for Valentine's Day after reading some great reviews. What an amazing experience it was, calming, relaxing and professional. We have had many massages back in Europe and this was by far one of the best places we've been to. The couples massage room is a wonderful space and we were made to feel very welcome from the minute we walked in and met our therapists, they individualised the treatments to our needs and worked out the tensions held in our upper backs. They ask what pressure we would like and got it spot on, I asked for strong and I wasn't disappointed. The knowledge of anatomy and physiology was second to none and we both came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. Even received a free glass of champagne before leaving! If you're visiting D.C. or live here, definitely visit, you won't be disappointed!

From the decor, service and location, to the friendly staff and reasonable prices, this is your place! I especially recommend their massage therapist Georgi - he's the best. If you're like me and have  struggled with chronic back pain, go to Georgi at unwind!

I have been going to Yelena for deep tissue massages for a few months now, and I can't recommend her enough! I have chronic lower back pain and carry a lot of tension in my back, so I was in pretty bad shape when I first started. Yelena is very knowledgeable about muscles and nerves, tailors each massage to my specific needs, and genuinely cares about my wellbeing. She is professional but also provides personal touches - I tried hot stones once and loved them, so now she keeps them on hand for every massage! I leave every massage relaxed and rejuvenated, and I look forward to seeing Yelena every time. If you need deep tissue work or facials, she is definitely the person to go to - and ask about the neuromuscular massage that she is now offering!

The spa itself is a great experience. The staff at the front desk are always friendly and welcoming, there is a wide selection of teas to enjoy before or after your treatment, and they always provide water and chocolates on the way out. I love the music, which is soothing but not distracting, and the entire space is clean, warm, and very inviting. The prices are reasonable for Georgetown, and they offer packages for a number of treatments. I highly recommend Unwind, and especially Yelena!

Unwind Wellness is phenomenal. The quiet atmosphere, combined with friendly and professional staff make it a phenomenal option for all. My girlfriend and I have gotten two couples massages here and on both occasions we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you are looking for a massage, don't look anywhere else.
