I've gone to see Max 3 times in the last year and he is exceptional. Always asks what's bothering me so he can address it, and I leave feeling relaxed and unwound. Highly recommend the 90 minute signature unwind massage (60 is never quite enough time)! Thank you Max!

First time at Unwind and it was exceptional. My girlfriend and I did the couples massage and we were both very impressed. The customer service was excellent. They offered champagne, different kinds of hot tea, and water. In addition, the staff was polite and they constantly checked on us to make sure we were doing okay. They definitely made us feel welcomed.

As far as the massage, I told them to focus on my mid to upper back and my legs and they performed techniques to really release the tightness in those areas. I walked out feeling amazing and helped with my recovery after a long week at work and at the gym. I have had a few deep tissue massages before. However, I feel like this has been the best one I've had. I would definitely recommend this place.

Never going anywhere else while I'm in the area. Just had my first massage yesterday, and it was a sublime experience. Antonio (the owner) was there to greet me at the door and was extremely welcoming and professional. My massage therapist was Julie, who was very kind and patient as I asked some newbie questions. I had a 60-min 'signature' massage and it was the perfect mixture of soft and medium pressure for my back. She did a fantastic job, especially on my tight upper back area. Room was comfortable and everything was clean. As I went to complete my payment, I mentioned that I originally booked under the early bird special listed online. Antonio didn't believe they were offering that special anymore (outdated ad or something), but still gave me the discount due to the confusion. In thanking him I said this entire experience was a birthday treat to myself, and he got so excited and disappeared in the back to get me "a surprise." While I waited for a couple minutes, the friendly receptionist and I chatted about travel, until Antonio suddenly appeared through the front door with a cupcake in hand. He literally walked over to the nearby cake store to buy me a birthday cupcake. I was floored by the thoughtfulness and care he and his staff take with their customers. Couldn't be happier with my experience and can't wait to go back.

Just magical. Got a couple's massage for my husband as a gift. It was his first massage ever and Marco did a fantastic job. They even offered us a glass of champagne after the massage to celebrate his birthday. It's the small touches that made it special. The facility was feminine and clean. They didn't rush us, it was a top notch experience. We will be back!

The massage was excellent!  Marion asked a couple of times about the amount of pressure she was using, which I appreciated.  I would absolutely recommend Unwind to anyone in DC who wants a massage!

Super serene and great service. My masseuse was very attentive to my problem areas, she even got knots out that I didn't even know I had. The lobby and rooms were very clean and well kept. I got a couples massage, it was a last minute late Valentine's Day gift to my fiancé and it couldn't have gone any better. UPDATE * Always tell the masseuse when the pressure is too much, a few hours later he had large bruising on his back.*
